Hello there. My name is Jon Moray and I have been writing short stories for over a decade. My work has appeared in many online and print markets. I would say my short stories and the several genres that I cross reflect what I enjoy. Some of my stories also reflect my life experiences, observances, and ponderances on the why. When not working and being a devoted family man, I enjoy sports; my favorite teams are the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, New York Rangers and the Orlando Magic. I also love music, many genres, many years; 70’s and 80’s are my favorite decades and Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, The Bee Gees, The Spinners, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy are some of my favorite artists. I work on challenging crossword puzzles to keep my mind sharp, although I rarely finish them. I love the ocean, although I am not much of a swimmer; I appreciate the sea most when I am on a Caribbean cruise with my family. Finally, I love SCI-FI/Fantasy media; It’s a Wonderful Life, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Star Wars, Field of Dreams, and Airplane! are some influences that are reflected in my stories.
